TAASA Lodge offers 12 luxurious tents, each equipped with en-suite bathrooms and private verandahs. Seamlessly blending African design and modern amenities, our expertly appointed accommodations provide a tranquil retreat between game drives.
For families and groups, TAASA Lodge also features an inter-leading tent comprising of 2 tents connected by a walkway.

Relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Lobo Valley from your own private verandah. If you prefer to stay indoors, you can snuggle up with a good book in the comfortable sitting area, which includes a large sectional couch and a writing desk. And when it's time for bed, you can rest peacefully on the elevated sleeping area, which offers the choice of a king-size or two twin-size beds, finished with crisp linen and down pillows.

The privacy of our guests is of utmost importance, which is why every tent is equipped with a luxurious en-suite bathroom. Guests can indulge in a stone shower, a double vanity, and a hair dryer for added convenience. How big are the tents?
The 12 spacious split-level tents are beautifully and luxuriously constructed under canvas, easily accommodating families, couples and solo travelers. We can configure the rooms with a double bed, twins or triples. Each measures 50 square meters (or 500 square feet) with a verandah, comfortable lounge area, bedroom area and bathroom.
Are the luxury safari tents air-conditioned?
Our luxury tents and main lodge do not have air conditioning, as the high altitude of 2,000 meters (or 6,000 feet) brings chilly mornings and evenings. In fact, to reduce the chill, hot water bottles are placed in the beds. However, temperatures gradually increase during the day. Tanzania boasts a generally pleasant climate all year round.

Our rooms go beyond just providing a place to rest your head. We aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible by offering a range of amenities. You'll enjoy a cozy bed, a writing desk, comfortable seating, and a designated area for you to unpack. For those who like to stay active, we provide a workout kit in each room.
